Recenzje:

When Luke visited us here some months ago, he gave us a couple of Polish CDs and he told me that this is one of the best and finest bands to come out of Poland and this is their best work so far. As the CD title suggests, ZLODZIEJE ROWEROW plays emotion driven hardcore, sometimes melodic, sometimes screaming with anger although at times it sounds too soft for me. Anyway, the recording quality is perfect for this types of music, which seems very polished (no pun intended!) and that is what makes this release great. These guys sing in Polish but fortunately for us who can only speak a maximum of 2 languages, they included translations of the lyrics in English, German and Spanish, there.. how fucking sincere is that? What sets this band apart from the current slew of ‘emo’ bands (all HC bands should be emo right?) they do not only sing about their broken lovelife, relationships but they incorporate their clear messages like anti fascism (which sounds great because a girl is singing along with the band). This CD is put up as a split by one of the finest labels in Poland right now – Refuse and Emancy-punx which makes this one a totally collective effort.

Euro-hardcore that is big on heart and average on music. I think that if you’re looking for innovative sounds, this definitely isn’t for you. However it is well played late ‘80’s hc with intelligent lyrics in Polish that are translated into English, German and Spanish. Admittedly, though, what I liked most about this CD were the dance mix bonus tracks at the end. I found these very classy and enjoyable.

I like bands which sing in their foreign language. This band hails from Poland, which has a very productive hardcore scene. The band is a political aware punk/hardcore band. The lyrics prove the will to communicate, to express and to spread the bands opinion. The music is moshy and the vocals is yelled and spoken. Too bad that the music never goes over the top or something. It’s just kind of moshy and mid-tempo the whole time. Slow even. There is some melody and I think of a band to compare them to (I hate doing so) I think of a more bad 4 Walls Falling. It’s not totally bad, but not good either. I miss the anger visualised through their music which they express in their lyrics.
