If you could see the fonts on this CD, I wouldn't even have to mention that they sound like a combination of the powerviolence on Infest and the frenzy of Charles Bronson. You could guess this just by the layout. That said, Betercore delivers the goods on most of these tracks. Since this is a discography, some of the songs are noticeably better than others. I prefer the stuff at the beginning of the CD (though I don't know if that is the earlier or later material). At some point they gain a second singer and that changes the song of each song quite a bit. Betercore plays fast, thrashing hardcore with a strong political message. They promote DIY hardcore and activist politics. I started to get a headache reading through the mushy, tint text of the lyrics - but it was totally worth it because they lyrics are fun and inspiring.
